Profile

Mike Sheppard is a Lecturer within Clinical Education, Development and Research (CEDAR); Psychology: College of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Exeter; and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

His main clinical interests are in the area of Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), having practiced within the NHS as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. He also has a particular interest in Performance Anxiety, having helped design an intervention for use with students at the University of Exeter. Prior to working within the NHS as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Mike worked within HM Prison Service as a Groupwork Facilitator.

Qualifications

Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
Postgraduate Certificate in Psychological Therapies Practice.
BSc Psychology.
