Dr Krystal Warmoth
Research Fellow

I am the Project Manager for the GREAT into Practice (GREAT-iP) project and a Research Fellow in the Centre for Research in Ageing and Cognitive Health (REACH). GREAT-iP begins the process of enabling NHS memory services, care home providers, home support and community reablement services to offer a person-centred goal-oriented cognitive rehabilitation (GREAT CR) by working with at least 15 NHS, local government, and private and non-profit care provider organisations.

Previously, I was Research Fellow that supported the work of the National Institute of Health Research's Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care in the South West Peninsula (PenCLAHRC). I contributed to projects that focus on applied health services research—specifically, in the area of Older People with Complex Health Needs.

Before joining PenCLAHRC, I was a Research Fellow in the University of Exeter Medical School. I conducted research focusing on (1) evaluation and evaluation tools relevant to public health and (2) interventions to reduce alcohol consumption. Prior to my post in Exeter, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Houston where I managed a social support intervention for Chinese American breast cancer survivors.
