Jo is an MPhil/PhD student who is based at the Mood Disorders Centre and the Peninsula Graduate School. Jo‘s PhD explores the effectiveness of mindfulness-based parent training (MBPT) for parents with recurrent depression. Jo is interested in not only the benefits of MBCT for parents but the effect it can have on children‘s development. Jo is supervised by Professor Willem Kuyken, Dr Heather O‘Mahen and Dr Tamsin Ford.
Jo completed her undergraduate degree here at Exeter in 2009 and during her degree worked as a playworker, outreach worker and an intern here in the Mood Disorders Centre.
