Katie Jackson is an Associate Lecturer within Clinical Education, Development and Research (CEDAR). She teaches on the PGCert Psychological Therapies Practice (Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and on the Long-term conditions module as part of the IAPT extension programme.
Having previously worked as a Low Intensity Therapist within an IAPT service in South Gloucestershire, Katie trained as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in 2014, and worked as a PWP in Devon for 2 years following her training. During her time working as a PWP, she took a special interest in developing low-intensity CBT interventions to support people living with long-term health conditions.
Katie is a member of the BABCP.
