Dr Anjali Bhat

Anjali Bhat is a neuroscientist and psychotherapist who researches the neural correlates of the psychedelic experience and psychedelic-assisted therapies for patients with a range of psychiatric and autoimmune conditions. She takes an interdisciplinary, mixed-methods (e.g., neuroimaging, experience sampling, epigenetics) approach, bridging computational, cognitive, and cellular neuroscience to construct a multilevel understanding of how psychedelics such as LSD influence the brain and mind. She is a Lecturer on the MSc in Psychedelics: Mind, Medicine, and Culture at the Department of Psychology.
