CEDAR
About me:
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over thirteen years of qualified experience working primarily in NHS child and family mental health services, including core CAMHS, Paediatric neurodevelopmental assessment and Specialist CAMHS for Fostering and Adoption services.
I trained as a Clinical Psychologist here at the University of Exeter between 2006-2010. Post qualification, my professional interests have centred on attachment, childhood developmental trauma and relational therapeutic approaches such as Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and Mentalisation-based Therapy.
I have always enjoyed supervising and supporting trainees on placement and began working at Exeter University as a clinical tutor for Dorset trainees in 2022, having previously worked as a clinical tutor on the Southampton Clinical Psychology training programme. In 2023 I also became the Child Module convenor and Year Group tutor for the third years. I work for the doctorate course alongside clinical roles in the NHS and as an independent practitioner.
