About me:
My research uses a health neuroscience framework tof examine the cognitive and neural factors that increase vulnerability to overeating and dysregulated eating behaviours. Generally, my work focuses on understanding the how the prefrontal cortex and associated cognitive processes (i.e., executive functions, reward-based decision making) help individuals regulate "junk food" consumption, and the use of exercise and other interventions to target these mechanisms to improve eating behaviours. I also have interests in the neurobiological basis of disordered eating and clinical eating disorders.
