I gained my PhD in Psychology from the University of Western Australia, where I was supervised by Prof. Colin MacLeod. Following my doctoral studies, I spent several years as a research fellow and associate at the Centre for the Advancement of Research on Emotion, School of Psychological Science, University of Western Australia, before taking up a lectureship at the University of Exeter in 2022.
