Larysa Zasiekina is Professor of Psychology and Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the University of Exeter. She is an internationally recognised Research Clinical Psychologist in the field of Psychotraumatology. She is the founder of The Ukrainian Psychotrauma Centre. Her group's research focuses on individual and collective psychotrauma and associated mental health disorders.  Her research group runs studies with active-duty soldiers, veterans and their families, forcibly displaced persons, and adolescents and adults exposed to continuous traumatic stress. Professor Zasiekina has received several national and international awards for her research, including the 2024 Nevitt Sanford Award for Outstanding Professional Contribution to Political Psychology.
