Miriam Koschate-Reis is an Associate Professor of Computational Social Psychology and Co-Director for Research and Impact (DoRI) in the department of psychology. Her research focusses on the way people navigate social group memberships and the social identities they derive from them, as well as the interplay between social identities and technology/artificial intelligence (AI).

Miriam uses a combination of computational methodologies (e.g., natural language processing, basic machine learning) and more traditional social psychology methods (e.g., experiments, surveys) and works interdisciplinary within psychology (e.g., cognition, clinical) and beyond (e.g., computer science, software engineering, medical sciences, linguistics).

You can find out more about the research by Professor Miriam Koschate-Reis and the PsyID lab in the 'Research Overview' tab.
