Miriam is an Early Career Reseacher in Social, Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Exeter and a Research Affiliate at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership, at The Australian National University. Miriam is also the principal investogator in the Marie Skłodowska Curie Action SEXISM2022: Contemporary Sexism - Nature, Prevalence, Consequences, and Strategic Use
Miriam's reserach focuses in the study of contemporary sexism, gender stereotypes, and attitudes towards policies advancing women. The aim of her work is to uncover the subtle ways that gender bias is expressed in modern societies and organizations. In her work, Miriam uses quantiative and qualitiatve methodological approaches, including experimental designs, big data analysis, text-mining, free associations, and interviews.
Short bio:
2021: Miriam was awarded the Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellowship to join the University of Exeter.
2020: Miriam obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Vienna. During her doctoral training, she visited Stockholm University (2018-2019) and New York University (2016-2017).
