About me:
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Molecular Epidemiology in the School of Psychology. My research focuses on the impact of heavy menstrual bleeding and menstrual pain on the mental health of people who menstruate, with a broader interest in the intersection between menstrual health, reproductive health and mental health.
I have a strong quantitative background in statistics and epidemiology, with experience in genetic epidemiological methods , causal inference and longitudinal data analysis. Prior to my current role, I worked in psychiatric genetics on a range of complex conditions, including schizophrenia, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder and Alzheimer's disease. I also served as a data intake representative for the Psychiatric Genomics Consrtium (PGC) Schizophrenia working group.
I am always happy to hear from prospective postgraduate students (Master's and PhD) and collaborators interested in working at the intersection of menstrual health, reproductive health and mental health.
