Mr Steven Dean-Morrill

Hi, I’m Steven, an Associate Lecturer within CEDAR (Clinical Education Development and Research) at the University of Exeter.

I am part of the team that has responsibility for the delivery and assessment of teaching and learning across the Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) and Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) programmes. I also support the development and assessment of clinical competency within these programmes.

Throughout my career, I have focused on integrating education and clinical practice, supporting the development of practitioners who will go on to positively impact the lives of many others. I am particularly passionate about helping students build confidence and shape their professional identity. I gain real satisfaction from making complex ideas accessible, practical, and easier to understand.
