About me:
I am interested in a range of topics in psychology that span across social, clinical, and health disciplines. My main interest is in marginalized populations focusing specifically on aspects of intersectionality and inequality. I am also interested in body image and eating disorders and am aiming to conduct research focusing specifically on these topics witihin LGBTQIA+ populations. My PhD focused on transgender (and gender-nonconforming) people and their relational partners (e.g., family, friends, spouses etc.). Through my thesis I developed a theroetical framework of the roles support and communication play in positive relationships for TGNC people.
