Overview
I am a Lecturer within the department of Psychology, working in Clinical Education, Development and Research (CEDAR). I am an Academic Tutor on the Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner programme (MHWP) and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I have previously taught across programmes within the Low Intensity CBT portfolio on the MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) programme, PWP Apprenticeship and the PGCert Psychological Therapies. I have also worked as interim Programme Lead on the PWP Apprenticeship. I have been involved in CPD development for PWPs, including co-developing the OCD masterclass for qualified PWPs.
Clinically, I have worked in a variety of mental health roles in the NHS as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, Trainee CBT therapist and a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. I have also worked at the University of Exeter Wellbeing Service as a mental health pathway lead.
Alongside lecturing, I am currently training as a Cognitive Behavioural therapist at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre (OCTC).
