Overview

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience working in child and family and perinatal infant mental health services locally. I was fortunate to be trained as a Clinical Psychologist here at the University of Exeter between 1999-2002, whereby through my placements my interest in perinatal infant mental health was born. Post qualification I was able to develop my interest in this area, working in the local Surestart programme, before developing and leading the countywide perinatal infant mental health service.

I have always enjoyed supervising and supporting trainees on placement and began working at Exeter University as a clinical tutor in 2018. In 2022 I moved into the Clinical Practice Directors role for the DClinPsy. It is an exciting time being able to develop the clinical module and supporting trainees' development of skills and competencies as Clinical Psychologists.
