MBCT Therapist & Trainer



Claire has worked in a variety of mental health settings for over ten years. She began working as a group therapist and then in 2003 she completed an MSc in Occupational Therapy. She went on to work as an Occupational Therapist for three years in Brighton and North Devon, primarily in acute psychiatric services and community mental health teams. It was in 2006 that she joined the Primary Care Service in North Devon - as a Psychological Therapist - offering brief Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for adults. During this time Claire became involved in running Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) courses - both in North Devon and at Exeter University. She currently works part time at the Mood Disorders Centre running MBCT courses and also works part time teaching Yoga.
