Research interests

My research interests include improving cancer care for autistic people, by exploring and listening to the lived experience of autistic people to determine healthcare barriers that are experienced throughout diagnosis and treatment for cancer.

Research projects

Currently working on a research project that is exploring autistic adults’ experiences of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment using mixed methods (autoethnography, interpretative phenomenological analysis and cross-sectional surveys) to understand and learn from autistic people themselves.
