Overview

I currently work as an Associate Research Fellow with Dr Paul Farrand and Joanne Woodford within CEDAR (Clinical Education, Development and Research). We are developing a low intensity Behavioural Activation Written Self-Help Programme for the Treatment of Depression in People experiencing Dementia. The aim is to develop a self-help programme for people who care for someone in Cornwall. The project is currently focused on developing the intervention / training and testing intervention acceptability. A feasibility RCT study will progress in 2015.

Before joining the University of Exeter, I was employed with Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust as Primary Care Dementia Practitioner. Prior to this I have worked as a mental health nurse in research and training at the University of Nottingham with a special interest in the field of self-harm and
suicide prevention.
