Participate in our research
We are looking for volunteers to participate in the research of the Psychology Department at the University of Exeter - which ranges from neuropsychological investigations of basic cognitive processes to questionnaires.
- You can sign up for experiments using our automated online system.
- Our paid experiments offer a rate of £5-10 per hour.
- Credit based experiments are for University of Exeter students and offer no monetary value.
- When you register for an account you will have access to this online system, which lists all the available experiments that run throughout the year.
- There is no obligation to take part and you can book onto experiments as and when you want.
How to sign up
- Register for an account online
- Wait for a confirmation email containing your username and password
- Login to the system, sign up for experiments, and take part.
Mobile app
Once you have registered for an account you can also book onto studies using the mobile application for iOS and Android.
When prompted for the URL address enter 'exeter-psychology.sona-systems.com'.

All research is approved by the Psychology Ethics Committee of the University of Exeter, and informed consent will be obtained before the start of each experiment.
