Profile
I graduated with a First Class degree in Psychology from the University of Exeter. During my undergraduate degree, I received the SAGE Award for the best final year research project, where I investigated the effects of alcohol on memory and sleep. I also received the Dean’s Commendation for exceptional work throughout. I am now embarking on a PhD in the field of addiction and psychopharmacology.
Broad research specialisms:
I am interested in researching a myriad of prosocial processes in opiate addiction, including compassion, empathy and trust. Under the supervision of Professor Celia Morgan, I aim to investigate the disruption of these processes among heroin addicts, and explore whether it is possible to remediate such deficits in these prosocial behaviours with psychological and pharmacological interventions.
